Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Dipping sauce (ranch, etc.)

Directions

  1. Rinse chicken legs in warm H20, put in pot filled with H20, boil 25 minutes, skim excess/skin from surface during boil
  2. Cut tomatoes and cauliflower into chunks, set aside
  3. Peel and cut carrots into long slivers, set aside
  4. Serve chicken with veggies and dip on side, salt/pepper to taste

Blueberry Braided Loaf

  • Prep Time 20 minutes
  • Total Time 50 minutes
  • Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 6 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 egg, separate yolk from white
  • 1 ¼ confectioners sugar
  • Sweet dough (mix 2 tsp yeast, ½ cup warm H20, ¾ cup sugar, 1 cup warm milk, 2 eggs, ¾ cup veg oil, 1 tsp salt, then add 5 cups flour, knead 10 mins, let rise 20mins, roll flat)
  • ¾ cup blueberries, washed/dried
  • 2 tbsp H20

Directions

  1. Mix cream cheese with egg yold, ¼ cup confectioners sugar, set aside
  2. Shape flattened dough into rectangle
  3. Spoon cream cheese down middle of rectangle
  4. Wash and drain blueberries, dry thoroughly with towel, place berries down middle
  5. Using sharp knife, cut 1" slits down each side of rectangle for braiding
  6. Braid cut ends over each other, tuck ends under, brush with mixed egg white/H20
  7. Bake 20 minutes on parchment or oiled sheet, top with sprinkles of confectioners sugar)
