2012 SUMMER CAMPS Cost:$300.00/All recipes can be downloaded off the website that were made at camp.
Enjoy cooking with us in the carefree days of summer. Each week is a new adventure experimenting in our kitchen. Choose your camp week and join us. A healthy lunch is prepaired and served daily. Special arrangments can be made for children with food allergies.To register for any of our camps, please call the studio at 201 447-2665.Register early as camps fill quickly. A 50% deposit is required to guarantee a spot. Only 12 students per class.Please note: No spots will be held unless a deposit is made.If a camp is filled, please call the studio and inquiry if we will be opening another session. We only need 6 students to open a new session.
June 11-15 Who Stoled the Cookie?
Ages 3-6
Morning Class Time 10:00-12:30
Your little chef will find clues to uncover the cookie thief! Discover a new clue each day. Cook and serve your own healthy lunch. Each little chef will make their own cookie container and then fill it with the cookies they baked all week. June 11-15 Let's Go CampingAges 3-6Afternoon Class Time 1:00-3:00 Grab your flashlight and your sleeping bag were going on a camp out! We will build a "pretend" campfire and make yummy foods and treats like s'mores and more!!
July 9-13 All About Herbs-
Group I-Ages 5-8/Group II-Ages 9-13
Time: 10:00-12:30Ever wonder what herbs are used for? Each day we will learn about a different herb and incorporate it into a delicious dish. Plant your own miniature herb garden.
July 16-20 Palets From Around the WorldGroup I-Ages 5-8/Group II-Ages 9-13
Time:10:00-12:30/*Time: 1:30-4:00/ Every day we will travel around the world to a different country. Spain, Japan, Italy, Scotland, and the Carribean. It is sure to be a culinary adventure!
*NEW! Art of Baking/$300.00*Aug 6-10 Time: 10:00-12:30/Group I-Ages 5-8/Group II-Ages 9-13*WE INVITE PARENTS BACK ON THE LAST DAY TO VOTE ON THEIR FAVORTIE DECORATED CAKE!! Wilton certified instructor will teach the art of baking. In additions you will learn to make pies, danishes, quiche and more as well as learn to decorate your cakes.We also will make chocolate for some added fun. Yum!
Aug 20-24 -Pasta, Pasta, Pasta and Homemade BreadsGroup I-Ages 5-8/Group II Ages 9-13
Time: 10:00-12:30 Come make an array of HOMEMADE pastas and breads. Gnocchi, ravioli, spaghetti and more. Then top it off with some delicious sauces.
AUG 13-17CULINARY TOUR OF RIDGEWOOD/Ages 10-15 Time: 1:30-3:30Walk from our studio into the beautiful town of Ridgewood visiting different restaraunts cooking and watching chefs demonstrations in their kitchens. Each camp participant will learn the art of making all different foods. Will visit Natalies for Italian, Tito Buritto's for Mexican, Sook for French Pastry, Pearl Resturant for Summer salad and Chestnut Deli for CakePops. Please note we only take 12 students and this camp fills early!

*NEW Real Food for Real Kids/$300.00 Aug 27-Aug 31 (M-Th no class friday)Time: 10:00-12:30Chef Maureen will teach you that real food is "reeeaaal good" to eat! Each day you will concentrate on one aspect of the meal (ie breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack) and learn how to make a healthy alternative and choices. Healthy eating makes happy kids!!
